Class A RVs are built on a specially designed motor vehicle chassis that resembles a bus and are often referred to as motor coaches. On the other hand, Class B RVs look more like camper vans. They are built on conventional passenger vans frames but have had their roofs raised to accommodate extra living space. The average Class B RV ranges in size from 16 to 21 feet long, can sleep four people, contains a compact kitchen, has limited bathroom facilities.
Finally, Class C refers to a mini motorhome or camper. It’s built on a standard truck frame and can be anywhere from 20 to 32 feet long.
